Finally, by bringing together our dreams and our possibilities, we created the kind of courses that I myself, as a teacher, had been searching for many years: courses which would allow to teach Armenian to French or English speakers in Switzerland in a simple, clear, and well-adapted way.
I was looking to find courses which are dynamic, fun, colorful that could be delivered efficiently, making it easy to move from one topic to another without having to worry about how to find grammatical materials or effective ways to teach vocabulary. Such resources simply did not exist, I could not find them, and the available literature was not suitable for our context; Armenian textbooks, in particular, were completely impossible to use for our mixed level classes here in Switzerland.
I have been teaching English for 15 years, and it is well known how highly developed the field of English language teaching is, with an enormous and diverse range of content including videos, and games for every taste and every level, for both children and adults. When it comes to teaching Armenian to French speakers, however, there is still a great deal of work to be done. That is why, as teachers who truly love the Armenian language, we still have many challenges ahead of us.
I will return to this topic and suggest various solutions for that a little later, but for now, I simply invite you to enjoy our videos, where everything is carefully designed so that our learners can easily follow the lessons and learn with pleasure. The vocabulary videos are created to make memorization as easy as possible: after watching them three or four times, you will already begin to remember the words with confidence. In addition, all the material is also intended for self-learners, as each word includes a text showing its phonetic pronunciation.
It is with this philosophy to provide comfort to our students that we have designed our courses.
Watch and enjoy our videos, and let us know in the comments what new vocabulary you would like to see next time and what other topics you would like to learn and we will certainly take your suggestions into account.
Thank you, enjoy watching, register to out trial lesson and see you again soon.
